I designed the business card for Berlin, my favourite city after London. I love Berlin because it's so full of youthful artistic energy but also totally laden with centuries of history. The photo shows a friend and I freaking out in front of the heavy graffitied Berlin Wall, which I hope alludes simultaneously to the vibrancy and the history of Berlin. I picked the Gothic style font because it reminded me of Germany's austere old Gothic style, and because it picked up on the lines of the graffiti.
