my final t-shirt designs are all based on images, themes, and memories that inspire me.
my favorite and final t-shirt design features a pensive John F. Kennedy with his mind in "bloom" this was a really inspiring idea for me at the start of this project. it uses the gestalt principle of movement as it draws the eye up and towards the text.
I am also really inspired by vintage 1920s textiles, Elvis Presley, Dios de Los Muertos, and a harrowing trip that I took to Poland on my 15 birthday and these things found their way into my designs as well.
