I'd just seen a flyer for spiritual enlightenment out on the main green, so I decided to translate the main message to my business card. I chose the hindi god Ganesh as the background figure to mimic the woman's lotus position. I played with the opaqueness to create a gradient of color extending upwards, dissolving the woman's figure into Ganesh's. I also chose to rotate the card. That, in addition to the figure's increasing size and placement creates an overall direction upward towards the writing.
