I started this project thinking about the nature of tshirts. The funny thing is that we tend of think of them and design them as flat planes, neutral vehicles for our images, just like pieces of paper. Actually, of course, they're not flat at all, and the aesthetic experience of a tshirt is just as much about the body beneath as it is about the images superficially applied on top.
So I decided to play around with this idea of the body, and how it interacts with design in a tshirt. The first one (on the bottom) is actually the best suited to a tshirt, they got progressively more intricate. They're all made from the same photo of my hand.
